It's much easier to reveal one's true feelings to a diary than to express them out loud! Oh how we flee reality!
-Bertrand Gauthier-
The short story competition on identity closed on Wednesday and I can safely tell you that it's been the most talked-about event of my year according to my diary. Yes, go ahead and laugh, maybe you think that I have no life to speak of, but that is simply not true. What is true is that I got so excited and humbled by the experience of getting all of these entries, by all of these people trusting my judgment that... well... everything else I was doing wasn't that important, especially if you consider that I mostly use my diary to record the weather (I've spolit it all now, haven't I?). I am sure there are many, many people out there who decided not to enter for whatever reason. Well, maybe next time dear reader? Why not start practising right now?
